Project SEE

The Arc of Wake County supports the principal that all people with disabilities should have the opportunity to work in their communities. To better prepare people with disabilities for the school-to-work transition, Project SEE, a 5-week supported employment program provides a variety of work settings/samplings which allow the Interns to make informed vocational choices. Interns gain valuable insight into their occupational interests and strengths as well as develop skills to enhance their opportunities for employment in their own communities. Project SEE staff encourages the development of natural supports and promotes the philosophy of inclusion, within the work environment.
