Community Services Planning Council (CSPC)

Works with citizens and organizations to study and propose solutions to community social, health and educational problems. Provides in-depth information on social data and community resources through telephone information and assistance programs, publications and service directories. Develops programs to address identified community needs. Provides support to Sacramento County and regional advisory commissions. Helps volunteers plan and carry out community service projects, and connects people with volunteer opportunities through the Hands On Sacramento web site www.handsonsacto.org. Provides training and technical assistance in prevention and community development strategies statewide.
