Brooklyn Educational Opportunity Center

Education Opportunity Programs exist in four of the five boroughs of New York City. They offer a variety of Certificate Programs and focus on technology skills building. To enroll you must be 18 years or older, a resident of New York State and meet the income eligibility guidelines. Courses offered include: Cashier Training, Custodial Maintenance Training, Security Guard Training; Certificate courses in Computer Aided Drafting (AutoCAD), Computerized, Accounting, LAN/OS Windows NT/ MCSE Certificate Preparation, Medical Billing, Medical Receptionist, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), and Small Business Fundamentals/Entrepreneurship Basics; as well as GED Preparation, College Preparation, English as a Second Language for Professional Careers. You must be 18 years or older and a resident of New York to enroll in this program.
